What is project tiger?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Project tiger is nothing but a program to conserve tigers for their better living in their own natural habitat. There was a time when they were being endangered and people were not being able to see them. Due to weather or hunting, they were at the verge of being an extinct species. Now the situations are not so and they are able to live proper and well. This project tiger cam to tigers as  blessings. They now worry no more but enjoy in their natural habitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When did it start?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This project started from April 1973. It has been started by the Government of India when our then prime minister was Smt. Indira Gandhi. The first director of this project was Kailash Sankhala. Everyone knows that the Royal Bengal Tiger is the National Animal of India and that they need to be preserved well and fine. So, this project  boost the vested requirement. The main aim of the project is to give the tigers safety and ensure that they increase in number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much is it successful?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Many surveys have been conducted during these years to see how much successful this project was, based on all these surveys the total population of the tigers was estimated to 1,411. So, there was a huge increase of tigers and so it can obviously called a successful one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
